Charming Artigas Gardens
hidden high in the mountains by
A full-day adventure: transfer to the small mountain town of La Pobla de Liet, a trip by train along a picturesque high-mountain route, walking through the Artigas (Gaudi) Gardens, a half-hour climb to the top of the mountain along the beautiful waterfalls of Fonts del Llobregat. The biggest croissant in Spain and traditional Catalan lunch.
In the morning we will pick you from the hotel. At 11:30 we will take an open, but sheltered from the sun train, that will take us along beautiful mountains with breathtaking views of the Pyrenees to the Artigas Gardens (one of the greatest creations of Antoni Gaudí). There we will have an hour tour around the gardens and a photoshoot.
Lunch in a restaurant where people rarely speak Spanish (mostly Catalan :-), and the meat is cooked only over an open fire!
After lunch we will go on a small hike and climb up to the medieval town of Castellar d'en Hug taking the beautiful route along the Font del Llobregat waterfalls. Fantastic panoramic views from the top of the mountain with the largest Catalan croissant from the local bakery (incredibly delicious) will conclude our adventure!
The whole adventure lasts 10 hours. Then the car will take you back to Barcelona.
A nice bonus: the tour includes a photoshoot. You will get beautiful retouched photos within three days after the tour.
